About
Tina Shiver is a Registered Dietician who holds a Masters of Science and Nutrition from James Madison University. Her practice uses a Functional Medicine approach, focusing on using nutrition to improve the overall health and quality of life for the whole person. She has been in private practice in Richmond, Virginia for 15 years, working with individuals to develop nutritional plans designed for their specific needs.
Prior to opening her private practice, Tina worked as the Out Patient Dietician for Chippenham Medical Center, Sports Medicine Facility. During her time there she redeveloped the center’s nutrition programs, creating an improved referral service as well as workshops for the public and area business. While Tina’s excellent reputation continues to grow in the healthcare community she continues to develop and provide innovative nutrition plans and workshops. Her workshops and cooking classes are businesses such as Ellwood Thompson’s Natural Market are well attended and receive rave reviews from newcomers as well as long-time clients.
